Yes you can. All you need is the phone number to use yahoo messenger. You can email to your computer to get the address to message yourself back. I can text message your phone right now if I had the phone number.. Very simple! You may need to know the service provider in order to add the tail if you need it phone#@sympatico. There are also service providers that have sites that you can use to make it easier send an email or connect to the number for texting. Ask your friend the provider or wait until they message you and you'll know. I know it can be done because . I have sent out quotes to a few in a certain group now & again back while I was using my own cellphone. (I messaged my own cell too) {useless tools otherwise to me} Turn off the GPS if you get into that on your own cell. Order a cell that allows that! Some people are weird! (Of course I knew this upfront while investigating-ha!) There are sites online to check the gps too Here is a link to the Bell messaging site... txt.bell.ca/ bell/ en/ Here is a list to show the 'tails' for the ISP; Rogers Wireless: [10-digit phone number]@pcs.rogers.com Fido: [10-digit phone number]@fido.ca Telus: [10-digit phone number]@msg.telus.com Bell Mobility: [10-digit phone number]@txt.bell.ca Kudo Mobile: [10-digit phone number]@msg.koodomobile.com MTS: [10-digit phone number]@text.mtsmobility.com President’s Choice: [10-digit phone number]@txt.bell.ca Sasktel: [10-digit phone number]@sms.sasktel.com Solo: [10-digit phone number]@txt.bell.ca Virgin: [10-digit phone number]@vmobile.ca I don't have a GPS locator page that I know works because I have not tried although I do know of WEIRDOS who do & they can make your life a misery. They can stay home on comp and BINGO! (or if they drive cab or towtruck) *keen observation |
