Question: Is there something wrong with virgin mobile phones today?

EVERYONE. It started about yesterday at lunch(at least, for me) about 12-2 pm I started texting my friends as usual. But I got suspicious because they are not replying. I started texting like the people I usually talk to and the ones who reply really really fast. Still, nothing. I borrowed my dad's phone(not virgin mobile) then sent him a lot of text messages. He didn't receive any of it. I tried to send myself a text message from his phone. I didn't get it. So I called Virgin Mobile yesterday and they said that it'll be fixed in 4 hours(it was about 8:30). I called today because I don't think it's fixed. They said that it was fixed 6:54 am this morning. My brother(virgin mobile) got like a lot of messages pouring in, he even blamed me for it. haha But I didn't. I only got one. And my friends told me that they've been replying over and over again and they're not really getting any of my text messages. 6:54 am. I started texting. It kind of work but there was always a long delay. The texting success didn't last long. It didn't even last an hour or 30 minutes. So it's not working AGAIN. I tried calling them AGAIN for like 10 times and they're like friggin busy. "We'll get you to a live advisor.. " seconds later...BEEPBEEPBEEEPBEEP I tried over and over again but I think a lot of people are having this issue. They said to take the battery out for ten minutes. I did it for like an hour, but still NOTHING. They were like...the messages are gonna be pouring in once you do that. But nooo. They even tried to send me a text message. I didn't get it. I am sooo mad. I wish they fix it today. I mean it. I need my phone.

Yes. I have this problem with my phone, the LG Rumor 2. and its really freaking lame. i also have a few virgin mobile buddies with this problem. probably just a network error. hopefully will be fixed soon.

Mine is doing the same thing. I get everything like, five hours later. Annoying right?

I'm in New York State. I have the Rumor2 cell phone and as of yesterday around 12:00pm my phone has been acting up as well! I can receive and make phone calls, however, I cant use the Email & Instant messaging feature on my phone. It shows "connecting " than I get an error message. As for texting, when someone texts me, I receive it HOURS later. Talk about a delay!!! AND when I send text messages, they show as sent, but the other person never receives them! Ive been trying to get a hold of Virgin Mobile and so far have been unable to!
